TUCKER – 2-1/2 mi. S. of Johnson City.  This is an old private cemetery which has been abandoned for many years.”
This burial ground is the same as Harry Slagle, and is also known as Snell-Chrisenberry.  It also has been called “Sinking Creek”.  Confirmation came by means of the death certificate of Orena Main – see Burials below.  Death certificates showing “Slagle” and “Tucker” may be indicating family sections within this old burial ground.  There are no known plot records.

BURIALS
Confirmed by death certificates indicating “Tucker”:  An unnamed stillborn female of Robert Shell and Lula Ray who died October 9, 1919 (DC #520/323).  James Shell, son of Robert Shell and Lula Shell, born & died Nov 9, 1921 (DC #506).  Orena Main, Feb 3, 1924 to July 13, 1925 (DC #420/7).
Orena’s death certificate states “Tucker” as burial ground and a marker has been found at Harry Slagle Cemetery.
