Located at the intersection of Leesburg Rd. and Don Carson Rd. across Leesburg Rd. from the old Mountain View School, Telford, Tennessee. On June 2, 2001, the lot was mowed but only two markers was in place. Rebecca Humphreys’ marker was in the fence row.

MOUNT ZION METHODIST

Located about six tenths of a mile South of Leesburg. It is beside the road in the curve of the road opposite the old Mountain View Schoolhouse. This is the road from Leesburg to Telford. NOTE: John CAMPBELL, b. 5/31/1765 Augusta Co, Va, d. 11/26/1836, son of Andrew, and John’s wife, Sarah, 1775 – 1797, dau. Leroy Taylor, are believed to be buried here.

Edith McCracken recalls seeing several tombstone when she attended Mountain View School.

It has been reported that the markers were pushed over and dump truck loads of dirt was were brought in and spread over them.
