Eighth District

Miss Eliza Scott died last Friday night at the home of her aunt, Mrs. W.B. Fine, on Cherokee. She was the oldest child of A.L. Scott of this district. Funeral Services were conducted at the home Saturday evening by Rev. W.J. Shelburn, assisted by Rev. G.W. Matney. She was laid to rest in the family burying ground. Elizabeth Scott was born November 30, 158; died July 1, 1904. She was a victim of consumption.
