“CARRUTHERS – Located on North Baxter Street, just beyond 10th Avenue. As late as the mid – 1940’s there was a small cemetery located here in a grove of trees. The land has now been cleared and a home built there. The builder has no knowledge of a cemetery at this location. Mary H. McCown says that it was probably a Carruthers Family Cemetery, as this was their land. LBR”
