I am trying to find info about Charlotte Turney who married William Sims. Both Charlotte and William were born about 1818 according to census.I have no other information about them. Their daughter Frances Haynes Sims married Spencer R. Safley about 1866, probably in Tennessee. They lived in Mcminnville. They had only one child, Jesse Claude Safley born 17 Jun 1871 in Warren County, Tn. Jesse married Ellen Biles of Short Mountain, DeKalb County, Tn about 1897, probably in Nashville. They had three sons, Frank, Robert and Jesse who was always called Claude. Frank married Nannie Stroud of McMinnville no children Robert married Ethlyne Lomax of Port Arthur Tx. 4 children Claude married Rose and had 1 daughter, Dorothy Ellen.

David was a widower with sons; George, Obediah, Leonard, David and Joseph; and daughters Ann, Rachel and Tabitha. Ann married Joseph Moore before 1820. Rachel had 2 children Elijah Spradling, born 1825, and Joseph Columbus Spradling, born 1829. With the exceptions of George and Ann Moore, David and his extended family moved to Hickman Co. before 1830. I am interested in exchanging information with anyone interested in the Spradlings in Warren Co. My major question is who fathered Rachel's sons? Was it as rumor suggests, an Indian?
