I am looking for Isaac Carol Jones who married Mary Helton in 1868 in
Warren County. I am mainly looking for any information on Isaac and

Looking for info on Samuel Lafayette Upchurch born 5-11-1860 in
McMinnville, Warren County, Tennessee. Sam died 7-23-1957 in
Amarillo, Potter County, Texas. I know before coming to Amarillo he
lived in Paris, Lamar County, Texas. He married Effie May Turner in
Paris, Lamar County, Texas on 5-30-1906. Children of the couple are

According to family history my G-Grandfather William Riley KILLIAN
died in or near Irving College & was buried there in October 1860
while passing through from Oconylufty NC to his farm in Webster Co.,
MO. I asked cemetery directions at the crossroads last June and was
directed to Philadelphia Baptist Church/Cem. I did not find him
there, & believe he must be in a cemetery closer to Irving College.
I do not know of any other relatives in TN, but he was a circuit
rider preacher so may have been given more burial honors than an
ordinary traveler. I'd like directions to the oldest cemeteries in
the area; it's too much to ask others to do research for me.

William B. EVANS and his wife, Ann C. were born in Tennessee---I
believe they were connected to Markley FORD or his wife who were in
Warren Co. in 1830. The first five EVANS' children were born in
Tennessee, the last of those was born in 1838. The first child born

Bundrant. She went to TX unknown date and in Coryell TX married my

a Wiley, 2nd a Wilson, and 3rd Vincent Meadows. She married
Vincent Meadows in 1872 in Warren County. She was born 1837,

Am interested in any info possible on Chesley WEBB b.@1777, & family.
Did he die in Warren? I found his widow-2nd wife(Martha)in Grundy
Co., with children in 1850 census. Chesley is in Warren Co. in 1840

I would like to know how my father can go about trying to find his
real father. We know nothing about the man at all. My dad knows his
real mother but she refuses to tell him who his real father is. My
dad is Robert Eugene Womack born April 24th, 1954 in McMinnville. We
were told that he was born at the McMinnville Clinic and possibly was
adopted from there. His adoptive parents are Robert and Ida Womack.
Most people called my grandfather Eqypt. My dads real mothers name is

My father has over 2500 names of the Brown family dating back to
ABSALOM BROWN, born 1778 in SC. He has been searching for years but
cannot confirm anything beyond this information. Looking for

My grandfather Lewis Odom came from McMinville around 1900 with his
father & mother & 5 or 6 children his father was William Henry "Buck"
Odom & Sarah Adcock who was married first to a John Robertson.
William Henry "Buck" Odom was the son of Willaim K. Odom & Mary
Davis.

Searching for information on or connections to Giliam Newton Clark
(b. 1840 TN). Giliam's siblings were: Rachel, James Anthony, Sarah
Emily, William George, John Thomas, Margaret Jane, Mary Elizabeth,
Melissa Tennessee, and Susan Cassie Clark. After the Civil War, he
resided in McMinnville, Warren County, TN and then went to
Murfreesboro, Rutherford County, TN where he engaged in the grocery
business for a few years. There in December 1869, he married Mary J.
"Mollie" Crosslin. They lived in Murfreesboro for a time and then
moved back to McMinnville, Warren County, TN where they lived for
some time. They then moved to Texas and later Searcy County, AR
where Giliam died in 1910. Children of Giliam and Mollie were:
Edward C., William, Arthur Loreno, Virginia, ?, and Leola Oter Clark.
Other surnames connected to this family are: Ramsey, Brawley,

Believe great-great-great-great grandfather, Soloman FREEZE was born
in Warren County Tennessee around 1795. His son was John Wilkinson
FREEZE, who was born in 1821. John Wilkinson moved to Dade County
Missouri, as his son James A FREEZE was born there in 1843. Was

Does anyone have information on Robert Shelly Kirby born March
9,1849. His Father was James Kerby and Roseanne Smith Kerby. He
married Mary M. Tittsworth December 6, 1896. Have document on that
marriage. He was known as Squire Bob in Cannon County and was
married several times Would appreciate any information you might
have.

I am trying to connect James Vaughn/Vaughan b. 1874 to parents. He
married Pouannie Street 1900 near Tracy City Tn and 2nd. to Mary
(Argo)
Meeks 1910 Tracy City Tn. James Vaughn died 1918 in Grundy co Tn.
James & Pouannie (Lummie) 's children were George, Ruil & Ella.
When
Mary married James Vaughn she had two girls names Josie & Clara.
They
went by the Vaughn name.

I am trying to find any information on my grandfather Moses Ulysis
PRATER "Tidy" and my grandmother Aline MOONEYHAM PRATER. Mooneyham is
her maiden name. Don't know if she had a middle name. I am most
interested in birth dates and marriage date. I would appreciate any
information. I have little information, but would share it with
anyone that may be interested. Thank You.

I searched my geneolagy back to a John Halpain born between
1770-1780. He lived in Lee Co. VA. in 1810, enlisted in the Virginia
Militia in 1814. He died in 1837 in Warren Co. TN. I have always been
told that he was from the Cherokee Nation. I would like to know if
his name is on any of the rolls. Thank You, Telina Martin

Seeking info on Redmond McMAHAN (1731-1834)
I have the following information: At least one son, Jonathan, was
born and lived in Warren Co., and two sons, William and Sanders,
lived there.
Warren County, Tennessee deed book A, page 22, 4 November 1811.
Redmon
McMAHAN to Enos Holbert 100 acres in Warren County on Barren Fork of
Collins River, granted to McMahan by State of Tennessee 23 Aug 1808.
Deed book C, page 125, 8 January 1816, Redmond McMAHAN to Nathan
Randolph for $120 part of grant from State of Tennessee 25 August
1802. In 1826, Redmond McMahan was making his home with his son,
Sanders, in Alabama.
In 1834, he applied for a Revolutionary War Pension from Warren
County, Tennessee - at the age of 103, making his birth date 1731.
Thomas Brown claimed he knew Redman McMahan before their respective
arrivals in Warren County, Tennessee.
It is not clear where Redmond McMahan was buried. Some say he was
buried in McMinnville or Morrison, Tennessee.

Levi EDGE b. ca l792 VA, d l866 Warren Co. TN m Mary STOCKSTILL BURKS
widow of Richard BURKS. Levi and Mary EDGE were in Warren Co. early
Their children were married to Martins, VanHoosers, Wilsons, Hawkins
and Farringtons. I am trying to find the parents of Levi EDGE and
Mary STOCKSTILL. Have many different theories.

I am looking for the parents of Elizabeth ARMSTRONG b. April 5, 1823,
(married Nicholas LONG) and Katharine (or Kitty) ARMSTRONG, b. 1822,
(Married Allen LONG). Both girls went to Missouri with their new
husbands. These girls were reportedly born in Warren County.
