Welcome!
I need help in locating the ancestors of John Maberry. The earliest
record I have of him is an 1850 marriage license issued in Panola
County Texas. The 1860 Texas census states that he was born in
Tennessee and his parents were born in Tennessee. I believe there
will be a relationship between him and Evans Mabry of Sumner Co.
Tenn. John will have been born in Tennessee sometime around 1828.

I am looking for information on BENJAMIN McCULLOCH, who died August
10. 1847 in McMinnville,Warren County, TN.and his wife SARAH ANN
LYTLE who died July 2, 1862 in McMinnville. I am also looking for
information on the wife of their son, LUCY VIRGINIA BURRUS, who was
born in TN. married PHILLIP DOODRIDGE McCULLOCH, born Nov.18, 1846 in
Rutherford County, TN. and died July 11, 1865 in Gibson County,
Tennessee.

My great grandfather was John Henry HOBBS born Warren Co. 1865. One
brother that I know of. After their father died mom remarried. The
two boys lived with grandparents and then left for Texas at a very
early age. Looking for any information on his parents or family.

Among my father's papers I found a photograph of Florence RUTHERFORD.
My father was from Warren County and I believe the photo may have
been made about 1930-1936. I will gladly send a scanned image to

DORA SUSAN GIBBS was born in 1856 in Warren County,TN. She married a
Henry S. Graves in 1877 in Denton Co. TX. Not sure when her family
moved to TX. She is my gg grandmother and I am looking for any
information available. Her father may have been a George Gibbs.

John Roberts b. 1790 Caney Fork, Warren Co., TN to William
Roberts and Sarah Humphry. This information is from LDS files.
Trying to ascertain if this John Roberts is my g-g-g-grandfather who
married a Susong and lived much of his life in Greene Co., TN.

I am looking for info. about James Oscar ROGERS. He was born,
married, had children and and died in Warren County, although he left
for a time to go to East Tx. He had a son, Sidney Oscar ROGERS b. May
28, 1885; d. July 5, 1948, in Warren Cty. Sydney m. Hattie NORTHCUTT
and their children were Robert, (Quim) Northcutt, Leona, Edith, Ola
and Walter b. Jan 26, 1911. Walter ROGERS, married Jaunita PARISH,
Children were Carson, Walter A., Barbara, Joyce and James b. Aug 29,
1932. James married Margaret FRANCE and is my father. I appreciate

I am looking for the decendents of Benjamin F. Mayo born about 1835
TN, John H. Mayo born 1826 NC, These two Mayos were brothers and
teachers in Warren Co. in the 1850s. Their parents are Benjamin and
Louisia Mayo other siblings are George W. Mayo born 1833,Eliza Jane
born 1836, Alexander born 1838, Thomas N. born 1839, and David born
1842. I am also looking for the death dates for these Mayos and any
other info someone will want to share. I am a direct descendent of
George W. Mayo and am working to trace this family's roots.

I am looking for the family of my Grandmother Fanetta B.
PIERSON/PEARSON who married George Washington ROGERS son of Elijah
ROGERS. Fanetta PIERSON/PEARSON was born April 25, 1875 in Warren
County. In the 1854 Tax List Civil District 10, Jacksborough - There
is listed a Daniel D. PIERSON. Can anyone tell me any thing about
Daniel or Fanetta. Thanks in advance.
