Looking for any information about the two listed above who were brothers with Thomas Jefferson Baker being born in 1838. Any information about their parents would be appreciated and we may be off and perhaps should be searching in McMinn County. Supposedly T.J. Baker also served in either the 9th or 10th Tennessee Cavalry during the Civil War. He was my great grandfather and is buried in Oklahoma. I have heard McMinnville and McMinn County so I may be a county off. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

Help! I am trying to find the first wife of JOSHUA CARTWRIGHT (born circa 1775 in VA?, is known to have been in TN by 1805, appeared on the 1820 Warren Co census and died there in 1840). One son was RICHARD NEWTON (1801-1871). Who was his mother? Joshua married an Elizabeth as wife #2 who can not be Richard Newton's mother who appears to have died circa 1825. Family lore says the missing wife/mother could have been a NEWTON. Is this true? I would appreciate any assistance as I am stuck on this line.

I am trying to get more information on my Great-Great Grandmother and Grandfather. I believe the original spelling of my G.G. Grandfather's surname was CREELEY(first name William). My G.G.Grandmother's maiden name islisted as WILMETTA. Their 1st child was Francis Marion CREELEY, born 1831 and married Tempy Dodson on January 18, 1855 in Warren County Tennesee. Do your records verify this information? If so, do your records give any information regarding my great-great grandparents? Frandis Marion CREELEY could have been spelled CRELIA but I doubt it. I am speculating that since Coffee County was formed from part of Warren that this could be the gggg Grandfather I am looking for. If so he has a son Named James Riley who showed up in Coffee County in the 1850 Census. Riley was a wagon maker. If any one can shed some light on this please contact me. Thanks neighbors.
