I am wondering about the name TRASILIN. I have an ancestor, Reuben
Trasilin LYNN, born out of wedlock to Mariah ASHLEY. The name
Trasilin doesn't follow through our family. Is this a name common to

I finally have a scan of an old photo from the Lively Studios that I
bought at an antique shop here in Ohio. It has a hand written note
"Mrs D. S. England, widow." ( probably David Scott England )
I had promised a copy to those who requested it but due to a hard
drive problem I lost many of the addresses of those who asked for a

Looking for info on my Great Uncle, Roy "Fee-eye" FISHER that moved

James WEST was enumerated in Warren Co. on the 1830 census. On the
same page are Anderson WEST and John WEST? James and Anderson WEST
appear on the 1840 Cannon Co. census. Anyone researching WEST in

Searching for Cherokee Roots. JESSIE CHEEK married to DELILAH
WALTERS. Their son JOSEPH C. CHEEK was born in Alabama 4/28/1854.
He married MARY ANN ROGERS born 6/28/1864 in Warren County, TN. We
can trace the ROGERS side of the family, but can find no info on the
CHEEK side which is Cherokee or the WALTERS side. MARY ANN ROGERS

Looking for information regarding David R.TASSY who is listed on the
"1812 Tax list by Alexander Hill" in Warren County and was a witness
to a land sale on the 8th of January 1814 between Benjamin Allen and
Arthur WARREN in Warren County. On Nov. 13, 1814 David TASSY was on a
muster roll of the 1st Regiment, Tennessee Militiain Warren County. I
think David's middle name is Rogers. I would like to find out more
about the family and a possible marriage of an

Trying to determine birthdate/birthplace of my grandfather James
Allan McCORMICK. Supposedly born March 1894. Married Lydia DODSON in
1916 in White County. He died March 1934 and is buried at Frasier
Chapel. According to my grandmother his father was John McCORMICK who
married Susie MEDLEY. Clayton, Eliza Jane, William, Flora, Arie,
John, Ruthie and/or Leona were bro/sis. He supposedly was born in Van
Buren or Warren County.

I am looking for any info regarding my Great Grandfather William H.
Cash who married Florence Caroline Alexander. They are listed on the
1880 census(Dist. 13)for Warren Co. Tn. Does anyone know where this
dist. is located? They were married Sept. 5, 1878 in Woodbury,
Cannon Co., but lived next to William's father James Monroe Cash and
wife Emilene in Warren Co. Dist. 13. They all came from Meigs Co. Tn
in the 1870's and by 1881-2 William had moved with siblings to North

My GGrandfather was John Wesley Martin b.1874 in Warren County. He
married Margaret Joanna Reece(?) from Sumner Co. I am trying to find

Searching for ancestors of Ruth Elizabeth FORD born <1804 in Warren
County TN. Married Joel H. MIDDLETON in 1824 in Warren County. Joel
was from Nashville, NC. This couple apparently moved on to Marion
County IL where Ruth died in 1849 after giving birth to 8 children:
Dicie, Mary Jane, Henry, Ruth, John, Joel Jr., George, and Josephus
Middleton. Joel married again. Josephus was my
great-great-grandfather.
