Womack (Ben Lomond Press, McMinnville, TN, 1970) pp. 17-18. His birth place as indicated on census records for 1850, 1860 and 1880 was Tennessee, but 1870 US Census gives NC. He does appear in the 1880 US Census, Warren Co., TN as a widower. No definite death date has been found for him. We hope when his tombstone is moved, it will give a death date.|

This newly located cemetery in Warren County has been named Ransom Pinckney Womack by the people who located it and your webmistress. It is not in the Warren County Cemetery Books.
