Asbury Cemetery

Asbury Cemetery is one of the older burial grounds in Warren County. Rueben Roberts, a Revolutionary War veteran, and a number of his descendants are buried here. As can be seen from the photographs, a number of tombstones have been put in some time later than the actual burial time. These have mostly been put down by descendants.

Note:
Gravemarker readings for the Asbury Cemetery may be found in: Warren County, Tennessee Cemetery Book 1. by Mrs. Almetia Cunningham and Mrs. Martha Holt, compiled and edited by Mrs. Betty M. Majors, 1993.
