Rites At Hebron For Mrs. Barnes 

Mrs. Addie Marie Barnes, wife of Lowell Barnes, Irving College farmer, died at the family home in seventh district Sunday morning at 1 o’clock after an extended illness. She was 29 years of age.  Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Hebron Church of Christ. John W. High officiated and burial was in the Hebron cemetery.  Mrs. Barnes was born in Davidson county, June 15, 1920. She was the daughter of Richard Madewell and Clemmie Estes Madewell and was a member of the Church of Christ.  In addition to her husband and father, Mrs. Barnes is survived by one son, James Douglas Barnes, two daughters, Brenda Joyce Barnes and Theresa Dianne Barnes, all of this county. Also three brothers, Richard, William and Wheeler Madewell, and four  sisters, Mrs. Jean Simmons, Margaret, Edna Frances and Rosie Lee Madewell, all of McMinnville. High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
