RICHARD SCOTT and MARY ANN SHOCKLEY in Buren Co. in 1860. Martha Shockley was with two sons and 6 yr. Mary in 1850.  Was Martha married to a McGuire before Shockley (the boys as mc) and which Shockley was Mary Ann's father?  Were Richard and Mary Ann married in Van Buren Co? Any help here?

SETLIFF

My Great great grandfather was John Allen Setliff. He was born in Tennessee about 1853-1854. I do not know the county, but he attended Burritt College and recieved a Masters in Accounting (so I have heard,but would like confirmation ) Does anyone have information on him? I'm trying to find the father (parents) of my g-g-g-grandfather, Wintford T. THURMAN (Winford or Winton) born 1844 supposedly in Warren Co, TN, maybe White Co, TN. The last record I have is an 1850 census showing Winford at age 5 in Warren Co, TN with a Nancy THURMAN age 45, Miller THURMAN age 17, Sarah S. THURMAN age 3.
