William H.(Billy Will) Brooks, 29 Mar 1843 - 14 Aug 1927, and his horse, Powder.
Billy Will was a Confederate Soldier.  He had a
finger shot off, 7 April 1862, at the Battle of Shiloh.

William and Sarah  are buried in Brooks Cemetery on Parker Branch Road near Cato.
