Sumner County, TN Marriage Lookups 1903 - 1950
BEFORE requesting a marriage lookup please read the below guidelines.
- My source for the marriage records is Ancestry.com.
If you have access to Ancestry, do not request a lookup.
- I will only do lookups for the years 1903 - 1950.
- In the subject line of your e-mail put Sumner County Marriage Lookup.
- Include the name of the groom/bride and the year/years you believe they married.
- Sorry but if the above guidelines are not followed, your e-mail will go unanswered.
Please limit your request to four marriage lookups per e-mail, and, most importantly,
please be patient. It may take a few days to get back to you!

Note: Ancestry includes images of the marriage records. If you would like a copy of the marriage record (if found) please let me know. My scanner is broken. All copies of images will be sent by snail mail.
Question: But I need marriage records BEFORE 1903?
There are online sources for pre-1903 marriage records. For marriage from 1787-1850 & 1858 go to the
Sumner County TNGenWeb site.
For marriage records from 1850-1902 go to Jan Johnson Barnes & Linda Carpenters site Sumner County, Tennessee Genealogists Companion.
