Mowell Cemetery
Located at the end of R. C. Barrett Road in the Blairs Gap area of Sullivan County, this cemetery is fenced and well-cared for. There are at least 64 graves marked by cinderblocks. It is unclear whether these graves are marked both head and foot, making it difficult to get an accurate count.

I am a great-great grandaughter of Rachel Shipley. Her birthdate was feb.18,1821 and date of death was aug.22, 1892. She was married to David Shipley. Comment said her stone was illegible.
