The Mottern Family Cemetery is located on a little bluff across from the entrance to Lady and Sons Equipment and Company at 409 Hillcrest Road, Bluff City, about halfway between Piney Flats and Bluff City, just off 11E. There are a few graves marked with fieldstones and a few unmarked graves. Copied by Charles M. Bennett, October, 20 1960. Transcribed from a copy of a microfilm of the Mottern Family Cemetery. The copy was obtained from the Tennessee State Library and Archives. It was noted on microfilm 320, which was a miscellaneous cemetery listing of the Sullivan County records.
