BLOUNTVILLE CEMETERY Blountville, Sullivan Co., TN . Traveling down Memorial Blvd (126E) toward Bountville, after passing “Polo Estates” on the left, you will take the next left onto County Hill Rd. (corrected) (Just before the TDOT building on the left and Airport Rd intersection). Approx 1 tenth of a mile up that road on the left are a few trailers and a road named Bountville Cemetery Rd. follow the road into the heart of the Cemetery. At the time of this info, there is a large tree that has fallen into the middle of the Cemetery. Most of the tree trunk has been removed, however I found about 5 stones that were broken by the tree, and about 20 more that are still covered by the branches. (Thanks to Eric Burgin)
The tree has been removed. More cleaning and mowing will be done before the annual Cemetery Decoration Ceremony on June 1 at 2:00. Thanks go to Anita Long.
