  1. I am searching for information on a murder that happened 11 Oct 1901 in Sullivan County… My gggf was murdered, his name was William Sherman Burton a carpenter fron the south Bristol area.. Clinton and Grover Watson were guilty of this crime and were sentenced to 15 years in prison…..Please if you know ant information or have any of these folks in your family tree Please let me know…

    • I met your mom when she was 17-18. She liked riding in the back of her aunt/uncle’s pickup. They’d cruise to McDonalds on”Hamburger Lane” Kingsport Highway. Your mom was pretty, with long brown hair, and pretty eyes. I can sort of picture her now. So sweet. I took her out a few times. I remember seeing her on the news the night she was killed. Very sad.
Her other aunt was known locally as “TransAm Lady because she drove a a TransAm, white I think, and she was blonde or bleach blonde. SHe and I raced once, caught by Officer Ron Leonard. My ticket was reckless driving. Think he let her off…
Not leaving a real email, but will look her occasionally.
