Jonathan Skinner died 11 Jul in Nashville; brought home to near Dover; left wife and several children

 

13 Nov 1846, Vol. 5 No 27:

Elizabeth Williams, consort of Henry L. Williams, died at home in Henry Co. on 11 Sep; dau. of Albert & Jane Holmes of Stewart Co.; left husband and 5 children

 

22 Dec 1849, Vol. 8 No 26:

William Brigham died 8 Nov 1849, age 74; born in a fort in East TN; member of Wells Creek congregation, Stewart Co.

 

20 Feb 1852, Vol. 10 No 28:

Louisa Edwards died 26 Jul 1851, age about 40, leaving husband and 9 children; husband Jesse Edwards died 21 Sep, age about 47; they were raised close neighbors in Stewart Co.; about 4 years ago, they moved to Hickman Co., KY

 

5 Mar 1852, Vol. 10 No 30:

Capt. James H. Brigham died 27 Dec 1851 at his Stewart Co. residence; born in Bluntsville, Sullivan Co. on 8 Apr 1785; left wife and 6 children

 

18 Mar 1853, Vol. 11 Nov 30:

Henry Weaks Sr. died at his residence in Stewart Co. on 22 Dec 1852, age 67

 

17 Jun 1853, Vol. 11 Nov 43:

John Boyd died 10 Nov 1852, age 86 years 10 days, at his son’s residence in Stewart Co.; born 1 Nov 1766 in VA; family moved to Rowan (now Iredell) Co., NC; married about age 25; parents were from PA, originally from Ireland
