Mary Elizabeth Burton Sircy
(maiden name unknown) Burton. She was one of six children born to this family. Her siblings
were: Oliver P. (born circa 1846) - Howard (circa. 1860) - Darthula (Thulie) (born circa 1862)
- Robert S.(born circa 1865) and Philander H. (born circa 1854).
She married William Jefferson Sircy 15 November 1874 in Jackson County, Tennessee. She had
three children before her death. Her children were: Weston Burton (born circa 1866 in Jackson Co.,
TN and died ? in Chicago, Illinois); Alta Sircy (b. 14 Sept. 1875 and died 30 Nov. 1954) Alta married
Jerry Henry Brown 25 Dec. 1892 in Jackson Co TN; and Drury Sircy (born 27 Mar 1878 and died 1
June 1945). He married Althie Lee Pulley on 28 April 1901 in Smith Co. TN.
Mary Elizabeth died 19 Jun1881 while expecting her 4th child. The baby died also.
