Williamson Samuel ROARK and Mary Ann "Polly" HOLLAND
Williamson Samuel ROARK, Baptist minister, was arrested by Federal
troops on 24 April 1863 when he refused to sign an oath of allegiance to
the Federal government, and although he was a civilian, he was interned
in a Prisoner of War camp for Confederate soldiers at Camp Chase,Ohio.
While there he still refused to sign an oath of allegiance,
consequently, he was not released until the end of the Civil War.
