Nancy Goodner Dillehay was born 16 July 1818 in Tennessee to John Goodner
and Martha Stewart. The Goodner family in Tennessee is of German origin and
traces its ancestry to Nancy's grandfather, Conrad Goodner.

She married Thomas R. Dillehay about 1832. Thomas R. Dillehay (1808 - ca. 1883)
was a son of Edmond C. and Joannah Asher Dillehay.
