Narcissa Pendester Fisher, known as Dexter or Dex was born June 6, 1881
in Smith Co.(most probably in Payne's Bend) to Enoch Fisher and Sarah
Jane Violett Fisher. She married twice, first to John. H. Wilson who
had come to Carthage from Texas to work on the new bridge being built at
Carthage. She next married John Silas Pope (b. May 30, 1858, d. Aug. 2,
1941) son of Jesse Pope and Cerena Pachal Pope.
She passed away Jan.11, 1929 and is buried at the Burr Manning Cemetery, out from Punch/Watervale.
