Almedia was born in Nov 1871 in Tennessee. She appeared on the census in
1880 in Smith County, Tennessee. She is listed in the home of Silas Phelps age 50,
Supt. of Alms House, and his wife Martha age 53. She is 9 years old at this
time and is Silas's great niece. She died in 1904 in Tennessee at age 34.
Though both photos appear together they were taken many years apart.
