1818 and 1819. This family settled on Bluff Creek next to relatives, the Sampsons and Snoddys.
Wiley was born on Bluff Creek August 30, 1829. He married Elizabeth Paris in Smith County
February 20, 1849. His brother Byrd Lewis Clark married Elizabeth's sister, Lydia Paris and
sometime in the early 1850's they migrated to Crittenden Co., KY The Paris girls were the daughters
of Obadiah Paris and Martha Allison.
