Samuel Jones Clark is the youngest child of Morris Brown Clark and Nancy Hughes Ragland.
Samuel was born 25 Marh 1885 in Chestnut Mound, Smith Co., Tennessee. He married Elzie Clestie
Shannon on August 7, 1907 in Bonham, Fannin Co., Texas. They had 3 children:

Sam died on August 23, 1925 in Tulia, Swisher Co., Texas from T.B. at the age of 40. He is buried next to his mother,
Nancy Hughes Ragland Clark in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia.
