Jacob and Margaret Evelyn Hesson Boston
This is a picture of my great-granparents Margaret Evelyn Hesson and Jacob Boston.
Jacob was born March 3,1874 in Pleasant Shade,Tn. and died December 12,1941 in
Carthage,Tn. Jacob was born to Matilda Boston (1853-1913) and Issac Jenkins (1854-1937).
Even though they were not married at the time Jacob was born they gave Jacob up for
adoption. Matida was the daughter of George Washington Boston (1793-1885) and Matilda
Parhurst (1827-1899). Matilda's parents adopted Jacob and raised Him as their own. When
Issac and Matilda married they never reclaimed Jacob so he kept the Boston name.
Jacob and Margaret married in Smith County,Tn. Margaret was the daughter of Peter
Hesson (1838-1927) and Amanda Thomas (1835-1916). Margaret was born on August 6,1868
at Pleasant Shade,Tn.and died in Carthage,Tn on June 3,1953.
