STEVE SIRCY (Richard Stephen
"Steve" Sircy)
Steve Sircy age 48 of Murfreesboro, died at his
Gum Road
home on Sunday, April 18, 2004. Steve died of complications from a heart
transplant which was performed 10 years earlier. Funeral services were
conducted Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. from the Jennings
and Ayers Funeral Home in Murfreesboro
by Mark Norris. Graveside services and interment were Sunday afternoon at 3:30
p.m. at Defeated Creek Memorial
Gardens.
The Manchester native was born
Richard Stephen Sircy in Coffee County on April 20, 1956 and was the son of J.
D. Sircy, a Jackson county native and Melba Kemp Sircy, a Smith County native.
His parents reside in Manchester.
Steve was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl and Nora
Belle Dixon Sircy and his maternal grandparents, Roy and Willie Kate Holliman Kemp. Mr. Sircy was co-owners of S&S Jewelry
and Loan Co. in Murfreesboro.
He was a 1974 graduate of Coffee County High School
in Manchester and attended Middle Tennessee
State University
where he majored in their aerospace program. He was of Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to his
parents are two brothers, Rick Sircy and wife Patricia of Charleston, West
Virginia; Tim Sircy of Manchester.
The family has requested memorial to the St. Thomas Foundation, Transplant
Fund, 4220 Harding Road;
P.O. Box 380, Nashville, Tn. 37202; Sanderson of
Carthage.
