Slave Cemetery
There is a group of graves marked with field stones located in Beasley's Bend
on the Draper Farm. The story has been passed down through the families of
the area that this was the burial place for the slaves of the plantation
owners. The Beasley and Polly Hill Cemeteries are nearby and the early
landowners of the Bend are buried there. There are several rows of stones
which indicate 50 or more burials.
