Perkins Cemetery
The Perkins Cemetery is located on Hwy 264 north of the Bellar house at Stonewall.
This cemetery was unfenced and destroyed with all stones down and broken. Family
members have acquired military markers for Confederate soldiers buried here.
The property owner fenced the cemetery Dec 2000.

Durham, Thomas M. 1835- 26 Nov 1864 Co. D, 9th Tn Cav CSA
Note:This stone for Thomas M Durham is a memorial as he was
captured during John Hunt Morgans Ohio raid and imprisioned
at Camp Douglas near Chicago, Il. He died from small pox and
is thought to be buried in a mass grave there.
