Jabe Gregory Cemetery
The Jabe Gregory Cemetery is located on the left side of Dixon's Creek
Road near the Trousdale- Macon Co line on the land of Atlas Gregory. For

The Jabe Gregory Cemetery is named For William Jesse (Jabe) Gregory.
W. J. (William Jesse) Gregory, Sr. S/O Bethel Gregory & Eliza Hall was a
Private in H C,28th Tennessee Inf. CSA Other Confederate soldiers buried
here are J.H. (Joseph Hancock) Richmond 5 Mar 1840 --2 June 1891 who
served in Co D 3rd Regt Cav.--Morgan's Brigade enlisted by Col. J.D.
Bennett and P.J. Payne 19 Aug 1841 -- 16 Jun 1863 whose stone is marked
"Wounded in Battle Stone's River, he died from his wound."
