Note: In Smith County Distribution of Estates, Book 1, page 101 the proceeds of
the sale of 74 acre farm of Malvina J. Austin was divided among her five children,
to wit: W.B.Austin, N.S.Austin, John Austin, all of Smith County; Susan Austin
Daniel, of Jackson Co.; and R.H. Austin of Indian Territory.
The farm was purchased by D.J. Shepherd and was bounded by the lands of
Betty McDonald, Prior W. Grisham, W.B.and A.S.Austin, and the Cumberland River.
