CALDWELL

Seeking information on Caldwell Family that lived in Dixon Cove. Father and Mother unknown, three sons Manuel Caldwell, StanleyCaldwell and Francis Caldwell. Manuel Caldwell married NancyGilliam,in 1927 and resided in Franklin County, TN. He died in early 1980'sand retired from the Univesity of the South in Sewanee, TN. WALKER, SIMS

In the 1860 Census, Allen WALKER is listed as living in SequatchieCounty. He and his son William fought with the 6th Tennessee MountedInfantry for the Union during the Civil War (8/2/64-6/30/65). Allenhad another son, Milo, that fought with the 92nd Ilinois MountedInfantry (9/1/63-12/15/64). Milo died during the War. Allen andWilliam and their families moved to Wright County, Missouri in theearly 1870's. William's wife was Sarah SIMS or SIMES. They weremarried 7/12/1868 in Sequatchie County. I can not find anyinformation on these relatives prior to the 1860 Census. I wouldapprieciate any information on the WALKER or SIMS families.
