         I B.F. Payne for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars, the payment of which is hereby acknowledged, have this day bargained, sold, transferred and conveyed to Bolivar Payne his heirs and representatives, all my right title and interest in my undivided interest both real and personal of my Father Solomon Payne’s Estate; and do hereby bind myself my heirs and representatives to defend the Title to the same to the said Bolivar Payne his heirs and representatives. This the 19th of September 1871.

State of Tennessee Robertson County
         Personally appeared before me R.H. Murphey Clerk of the County Court of said County, the within named B.F. Payne, the bargainer, with whom I am personally acquainted, and who acknowledged that he executed the annexed instrument for the purposes therein contained.
Witness my hand at office, This 27th day of Oct 1871.

Ann & W.C. Barlow to Solomon Payne, Sept 23rd 1867
         I Ann Barlow wife W.C. Barlow have this day sold and do hereby convey to Solomon Payne for the sum of Forty Dollars, my undivided interest in my mothers dower land, the same lying and being in civil district No. 1, Robertson County and State of Tennessee, to have and to hold the same to the said Solomon Payne his heirs and assigns forever. I do further covenant and Agree to warrant and defend the Title to said land to the said Solomon Payne his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whatever. Sept 23rd 1867.

Witness R. H. Murphey, Clerk of the County Court of Reobertson County, at office the 22nd Sept 1867.

Payne 27th Oct 1871, subscribing witnesses to the attached Deed who being first duly sworn Depose and say That they are personally acquainted with the within named W.C. Barlow, the bargainer and that he acknowledged the same in their presence to be his act and deed, for the purposes therein contained.
