Samuel Long from John Long & others, [Heirs of James Long, deceased]
         This Indenture made and entered into this fourteenth day of November in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty one Between Elizabeth Long, William Long, ___ Long, James Long, Vincent Williams and Polly his wife, Robert McMurry and Jane his wife, Robert Gwin and Elizabeth his wife, Josiah Lawrence and Nancy his wife all of the County of Robertson and State of Tennessee of the one part and Samuel Long of the County and State aforesaid of the other part, Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred and Twenty dollars and fifty cents to us in hand pair by the said Samuel Long the receipt and payment is hereby acknowledged has bargained sold and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto the Samuel Long and his heirs forever all the right title claims interest which we have in and to us legatees of the Estate of James Long deceased to the following described tracts of land to wit a tract or parcel of land Situate lying and being in the County of Robertson Beginning at a hickory on Humphrey Hogan’s ___ boundary runs one hundred and ninety six poles crossing the Sulphur fork to an Iron wood on the South Bank of said river, thence West with said creek South 50 degrees East Twenty poles, thence with said creek North 80 east thirty six poles to a ___ at the foot of a bluff, thence north 60 east with the foot of the Bluff eighteen poles to a horse house then north 10 east crossing creek Twenty poles to the end of the second branch of the said fork then with the said second bank north 20 West thirty four poles to a buck then north 10 East with said Bank ___ six poles to the sulphur fork at a red Bank then north ___ poles to Hogan’s North boundary then with said Hogan’s line West to the Beginning, Containing ninety four acres more or less. Also one other tract or parcel of land situate adjoining the above beginning at a black oak twelve poles north of the ___ West corner of the before described tract of land and ___ north one hundred and sixty poles to black oak and ___ thence West eight poles to three black oaks, thence South ___ and sixty poles to two post oaks, thence East Eighty poles to the beginning, Containing Eighty acres. Also one other tract adjoining the last mentioned tract Beginning at two post the south West ___ of the Eighty acre tract running East with said eighty ___ black oak, thence South forty poles to a Stake, thence West one ___ and eighteen poles to two White oaks, thence north Eighty ___ poles to a black oak, thence East thirty eight poles to a Stake __ South to the Beginning, containing forty acres and also another tract adjoining the last Beginning at a White the South ___ corner of the forty acre tract runs south fifty eight poles to a ___ black on a bluff and Fiser line, thence East with ___ and crossing the sulpher fork at twenty two poles in all ____ Six and one half poles to a Stake and pointers in Fisers line, then north Crossing said fork at thirty poles in all fifty eight poles to a Stake, thence West seventy six and one half poles to the beginning including five acres belonging to the heirs of Peter Fiser containing thirty acres to have and to hold the aforesaid tracts of land and bargained premises unto him the said Samuel Long and his heirs forever against the just claims of our selves and our heirs or any other person or persons Claiming under us. In Testimony Whereof We hereunto set our hands and Seals the day and date first above written.

Robertson County Court November Term 1831
         This Deed of conveyance from Elizabeth Long, Robert Green and Elizabeth his wife, John Long, James Long, William Long, Vincent Williams and Mary his wife, Robert McMurry and Jane his wife, Josiah Lawrence and Nancy his wife to Samuel Long was presented in Court and the Execution thereof duly acknowledged by the said Elizabeth Long, John Long, Josiah Lawrence, Vincent Williams, and Robert McMurry to be their acts and deeds and the Execution thereof of William Long and James Long was proven by the oath of George Childress and Joel E. Bell Subscribing Witnesses thereto and the said Jane McMurry wife of said Robert, Mary Williams wife of said Vincent, and Nancy Lawrence wife of said Josiah being examined separate and apart from their husbands who severally acknowledged that they executed the Same fully and Without the constraint of their husbands and now acknowledges the same to be their act and deed.

         And at May Term 1832 of said Court was duly acknowledged by Robert Green to be his act and deed and the said Elizabeth Green being examined separate and apart from her husband acknowledged that she assigned the same freely & with out the constraint of her husband and now acknowledged the same to be her act and deed and the same is ordered to be registered.
