         This Indenture made this 2nd day of January 1832 between Elizabeth Long of the County of Robertson and State of Tennessee of the [first] part and Samuel Long of the County and State aforesaid of the other part.
         Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Sixty five dollars to me in hand paid by the Said Samuel Long the receipt and payment is hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold by these presents doth bargain sell quit claim and relinquish unto the said Samuel Long and his heirs forever all the right title and interest Which I acquired by virtue of the purchase made from Anthony Jones of the one Tenth part of the following tracts of land, To wit, Beginning at a hickory Humphrey Hogan’s North boundary line runs 196 poles crossing sulpher fork to a Iron Wood on the South bank of the Creek then with said Creek South 50 degrees East 20 poles thence With said Creek North ?? degrees East 36 poles to a beach at the foot of a bluff, then North ?? East with the foot of the bluff 18 poles to a horn beam, then North ?? East crossing Carr’s Creek 20 poles to the end of the Second bank of said Creek then With the said bank North 10 West 24 poles to a beach, then North 10 East With said bank 96 poles to the ??? fork and a red bank then North 35 poles to Hogan’s North boundary line then with said line West to the Beginning, containing ninety four acres more less. Also one other tract adjoining the above beginning at a black oak 20 poles North of the North West corner of the above described tract, runs North 160 poles to a black ash and hickory, then West 80 poles to three black oaks, then South 160 poles to two post oaks the South West corner of the above described tract, runs East with said line 80 poles to a black oak, thence South 60 poles to a stake, then West 118 poles to two White oaks, then North 84 poles to a black oak, then East 38 poles to a stake, then South to the Beginning, containing forty acres and also one other tract adjoining the last mentioned tract Beginning at a White oak South West corner of the forty acre tract runs South 58 poles to a large black oak on a bluff and Fiser’s line, thence East With Said line and Crossing the Sulpher fork at 22 poles in all 96 ½ poles to a Stake and pointers in Fiser’s line, thence North crossing said fork at 31 poles in all 58 poles to a Stake then West 96 ½ poles to the Beginning containing 30 acres, To have and To hold the aforesaid tracts of land and bargained premises unto him the Said Samuel Long and his heirs against the Just Claims of myself and my heirs Claiming under our In Testimony Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal the day and date above Written.

State of Tennessee Robertson County August Term 1832.
         This Deed of Conveyance from Elizabeth Long to Samuel Long was proven in open Court by the oath of Nathaniel Vaughan and Eli Vaughan Subscribing Witnesses thereto and ordered to be registered.
