         The following were the Boundaries of the Land John Gilbert dec'd L---zed and posessed of Beginning on a walnut Wm Brook corner in a hollow runs South 86 2/3 P_ 43 poles; to a Stone _______ of 89 3/4 W crossing a creek at 160 poles line all 19_ poles to a White oak John Ellisons Corner, thence S 144 1/2 poles to a Stake of Covingtons corner thence S 89 3/4 E, 176 poles to a Stake & ________ in the line of the Church Land, thence S 25 E 31 poles to a Rock, thence S 75 E, 6 poles to a Stake near a church, thence S 6 W 35 poles to a Red bud thence E 10 poles to a fallen Walnut thence S 27 E Crossing a creek at the Mouth of Spring branch and continuing in all 26 poles thence S 5 E, 8 poles thence S 43 E 34 poles, S 13 E 12 poles to a Hickory, thence S 10 W 20 poles to the beginning. Containing 176 acres after Subtracting 10 acres that Treadway has within the above plot.
