State of Tennessee Robertson County
         For the friendship I have toward T.W. Ellis I, R.E. Elliott have this day given and conveyed to him one half acre of land lying in the 14th Civil District of Robertson County, Tenn. for a family grave yard and bound in as follows. Beginning at a stone in a field runs thence E 35 yards to a Walnut thence N 70 yards to a stake then W 35 yards to a stake then S. 70 yards to the beginning including all the graves on said lot.
         To have and to hold the same to said TW Ellis and his heirs forever, he paying the cost of probating and recording thid deed. I futher bind myself my heirs and assigns to warrant and forever defend the title of said lot to the said TW Ellis against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
  This 25th day of April 1898;

         Personally appeared before me JW Dean Clerk of the County Court of said County the within named R. E. Elliott the barginor with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged that he executed the within instrument for the purposes therein contained.
