Elijah West Last Will and Testament

         I Elijah West of the County of Robertson and State of Tennessee now being of feeble health but of sound mind and knowing the certainty of death and wishing to fix all my worldly ______affairs ______to _______Estate do publish and make this my last will and testament revoking and making void all other wills made by me at any other time.
         First, I direct that my wife Elizabeth and my two daughters to wit Mary Ann and Wineford West _______ half of the lands that I now own to be laid off so that they hold and keep in possession the house and all other out buildings.
         Second, I give and bequeath to my two sons Thomas L. West and Andrew S. West and the heirs of Sanford K. West the other one-half of my lands. My household and kitchen furniture and beds and bed steads and wearing apparel I give to my wife Elizabeth and my two daughters. My Stock I wish to be Sold and the proceeds divided among all my heirs at law. I also request that my neighbors Harrison Randolph Esq. be my Executor and Administrator to this my last will and testament as witness to my hand this November the 9th day 1870.

         The foregoing last will and Testament of Elijah West decd in open Court for Probate and duly proven by B. Randolph and T. S. Randolph subscribing witnesses to the trust therein declare said paper writing to be the last will and testament of Elijah West decd and orders the same to be recorded.
