         I Eli McMurry of the County of Robertson and State of Tennessee do make and publish this as my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other wills by me made.
         First I direct my executor hereinafter appointed to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses out of the first money that may come into my hands.
         Second I give and bequeath to my wife Octavia McMurry my entire tract or parcels of land and every thing on the place or premises and one thousand dollars in money, for her use and benefit during her lifetime, and after her death what of the property remains if any to be equally divided among my three children, to wit, Leelan, Dudley and John, and the balance of my proceeds or money to be equally divided among my three children above mentioned. I hereby nominate and appoint my wife Octavia McMurry as my executor this my last will and testament. June the 14th 1879 [date crossed out] And I appoint [appoint crossed out] Eli McMurry appoint M. McMurry as her advisor, and do not require any bond and security. June 14th 1879.
