         State of Tennessee Robertson County February 12th day eighteen hundred twenty agreeable to an order from the County Court of Robertson dated November Term 1819 directing Amos MOORE, Green FLOWERS, Philip MASON, Joel MOORE, John GRANER & Aaron ARONDORF surveyer do lay off and allot the real estate of Joseph PITTS dec'd amongst the legatees of said dec'd and report to next Court and the undersigned being first sworn as the law directs & have went on the land of said dec'd and made seven actual surveys and have lotted off to said legatees as follows first to James LYNN No. 1 containing seventy five acres butted and bounded as follows beginning at a double sugar tree standing on the West bank of Red River in Aaron ORNDORF's North boundary line of a tract of land that was originally granted to William McADOO by the State of North Carolina running North two degrees West fifty six poles to a White Oak in the State line thence with the State line South eighty degrees West one hundred and eighty three poles to a Stake in the State line, thence South to the river meandering it to the beginning; the above land was valued to James LYNN at seven hundred and eight dollars- Bartley PITTS second lot butted and bounded as follows beginning at James LYNN's Northeast corner a stake in the State line running with the State line South eighty degrees West seventy nine poles to a Black Oak, Hickory & Elm thence South seven degrees East one hundred and seventy three poles to a stake thence East seventy eight poles to a Dogwood and Black Gum at the Spring branch thence down the branch meandering it to the river thence up the river to the Southwest corner of number one, thence with the West boundary of number one North to the beginning containing seventy five acres the said second lot of land was valued to Bartley PITTS

         at seven hundred and eighty dollars- Major GREGORY the third lot of butted and bounded as follows Beginning at a hickory Black Oak and Elm it being Bartley PITTS Northwest corner of number two in the State line running South eighty degrees West seventy one poles to a Hickory a corner to said Major GREGORY on the State line thence South four degrees West with said GREGORY's line ninety five poles to a Black Jack, thence East seven poles to a stake, thence South fifty four poles to a post oak, thence East twenty two poles to two Black Jacks, thence South two degrees East fifty poles to a Hickory, thence East ninety seven poles to two Hickories thence North forty poles to a Hickory in the South boundary of the second lot, thence West thirty poles with said line to the corner a stake thence North seven degrees West to the beginning containing one hundred & seven acres and valued to said Major GREGORY at seven hundred and forty nine dollars- Joseph PITTS fourth lot of land butted and bounded as follows Beginning at the Spring branch at a Dogwood and Black Gum it being the most Southeast corner of the second lot belonging to Bartley PITTS thence with his line West forty eight poles to Major GREGORY's corner of number three in the South boundary of number two Hickory thence South with GREGORYs line forty poles to the corner two Hickories thence West with GREGORY's line ninety seven poles to a Hickory thence South two degrees East seventy five poles to a Black Jack thence East one hundred and forty poles to a Black Jack a corner to Susanna STRICKLAND thence North sixty three degrees East one hundred and six poles to an Elm, Hickory & Walnut at the Spring branch thence down the branch to the

         Beginning containing one hundred and twenty one acres and valued to said Joseph PITTS at eight hundred and forty seven dollars- Robert GORDON number five butted and bounded as follows, Beginning at the Spring branch on an Elm, Hickory and Walnut it being Joseph PITTS most east corner of number four, running South sixty three degrees West one hundred and six poles to a black Jack it being a corner to Joseph PITTS and Susanna STRICKLAND, thence South one hundred and fifty poles to a Black Jack thence East one hundred and thirty poles to a stake thence North thirty eight poles to a Hickory, thence East twenty poles to a Post Oak, thence North sixty poles to a Stake in the Spring branch then down the branch in the Beginning containing one hundred and forty five acres and valued to said Robert GORDON at nine hundred and forty seven dollars- Elisha WILLIS number six butted and bounded as follows Beginning at the head of the dry hollow on a double Black Oak in James EDWARDS line running North ten degrees West eighty poles to a stake thence North four poles to a stake thence East forty nine poles to a stump in Thomas FISHER's orchard, thence South eighty four poles to a stake in Joseph PITTS fifty acre survey thence East one hundred and thirty poles to a Black Jack, thence South fifty six poles to a stake in E. WILLIS's line thence West to the Beginning containing eighty two acres also number seven butted and bounded as follow- Beginning at a stake in the Spring branch in James EDWARDS North boundary line running West thirty poles to a double Black Oak then North to the said

         branch to the beginning containing four acres the last tract of land that is lotted, number six and number seven was valued to Elisha WILLIS at four hundred & thirty dollars this given under our hand and seals the day and date above written.
