State of Tennessee Robertson County Court February term 1855.
         It appearing to the Court here that Jeremiah PITTS is dec'd and having made no will or testament and application being made by J.H. EATHERLY to have Letters of Administration granted to him on the estate of the said Jeremiah PITTS dec'd, he having given bond and qualified according to law the Court therefore order that letters issue to him accordingly. These are therefore to authorize and inform you the said J.H. EATHERLY to enter unto and upon the estate of the said Jeremiah PITTS dec'd goods, chattels, rights and credits and the same unto your possession take wheresoever the same may be found in this State and perfect inventory thereof make and return to our issuing County Court an oath and all the just debts of said intestate pay so far as said estate will amount or extend the residue thereof deliver to those who have a right thereto by law. Herein fail not.
