         One note Richard Cheatham and G A Washington for five thousand three hundred dollars given on the 18th day of March 1843 due twelve months after date credited on the 4th day of May 1846 with Six hundred and thirty six dollars.
         One note on John Chowning and T J Chowning given on the 28th day of January 1846 to S.H. Stewart for one hundred dollars due in six months after date with interest from date.
         One note for seventy five dollars given to S.H.Stewart on the 28th day of January 1846 due six months after date interest from date.
         One note made payable to Joseph Payne by John Chowning and for fifty dollars given on the 3rd May 1846 due one day after date.
         One note on John Chowning for twenty dollars given on the 4th day of July 1846 due one day after date.
         One note on S H Bailey made payable to Charles Payne for thirty dollars given on the 7th of February 1846 due in six months after date.
         One note on Charles Yates for seven hundred dollars payable to William Villines due 25th of Dec 1846.
         One Receipt on Benjamin Roney Constable in Sumner County for five Executions on J. Blakeman and P. Cantrall and S. H. Turner securities, one for one hundred and seventy six dollars, one for one hundred and ninety eight dollars, one for one hundred and sixty eight 88/100, one for one hundred and ninety nine dollars and one for one hundred and ninety seven dollars confessed before W. L. Payne Esq. On the 30th of May 1844, with the following credits one in January 1846 for five hundred dollars on the 4 Oct 1846 four hundred and fifty dollars.
         One receipt on S. Bosta Constable for a note on Wilson Hutchison for fifty dollars 96/100 due on the 21st Dec 1844.
         One receipt on A. Johnson Constable for a note on Wilson Hutchinson due on the 22nd June 1846 for ten dollars.
         One order on Webster Gilbert given by S. B. Walton for five dollars not accepted.
         One note of Rice Johns for fifty dollars due on the 30th Dec 1846.
         One note on W. Lowe, Willie Woodard and James Woodard for four hundred and forty dollars due on the 1st of July 1845.
         One receipt on R. H. Murphey Sheriff of Robertson County for a note on J. W. Judkins and G. C. (Cannud) due on the 10th day of July 1845 with interest from date, receipt given on the 10th August 1846.
         One note on R. G. Patterson for five dollars due on the 10 September 1843.
         One note on R. G. Patterson for nineteen dollars and one cent due 18th September 1846.
         One note on R. G. Patterson for forty two dollars 82 cents due on the 19th of Sept 1846.
         One note on W. L. Payne for one hundred and thirty one dollars and 16 cents due on 3 January 1843.
         One note on W. L. Payne for thirty dollars due on the 12th of August 1845.
         One note on Gideon Payne for five hundred due on the 8th of August 1844.
         One note on Gideon Payne for two hundred and thirty dollars due on the 16th of March 1846.
         One note on Strother and Richards for Eight hundred and ninety five dollars due on the 8th of July 1846
                  with the following credits. $125 on the 7 April 1846, on the 8th April 1846 $60, on 1 April 1846 $7.75, on the 15th April 1846 $65.00.
         One note on Valentine Simmons for forty five dollars due the 25th of Dec 1846.
         One note on Solomon Strother and Gideon Payne for sixteen hundred and fifty four dollars due the 21st of January 1849.
         One note on W. L. Payne for one hundred ten dollars due on the 4th of July 1846, not to draw interest.
         One note on Strother and Richards for Six hundred dollars due on the 7th of April 1846
                   Credited with ninety four dollars on the 30th of April 1846.
         One note on Willie Woodard for seven hundred and fifty dollars due the 10th January 1847
                   Credited by two hundred and fifty dollars Sept 16th 1846.
         One note on John Chowning due the 14th November 1847 for fifteen dollars given unto the executors for ploughs.
         Misc obligations of Link for Ninety dollars, thirty dollars due on the 25th Dec 1846 sixty dollars due the 25th Dec 1847.
         On account Dosha Turner $15.00
         On account William Johnson for $8.00
         On account S. G. Strother for $12.00
         On account on Riley Philips for $2.25

         Slaves, David a man slave, John a man slave, Philip a man slave, Green a man slave, Manah and child Henry, Eliza a female, Mary a girl, Edmund boy, John boy, Manas a boy, a boy child Andrew.
         One Bureau, one Bedstead, one Table, one Bedstead, 5 chairs, one White cow, on fat (stand), 1 drawing knife, one hand saw, 1 small bedstead, 1 small heifer, 1 Red cow, 1 sand hone, 1 (Bannage), 1 bed and clothing, 1 rocking chair, 1 wardrobe, 2 leather trunks, 1 shot gun.
         A receipt on A. Johnson constable, no amount stated in the receipt for Execution on J. H. Duer and Elizabeth Duer.
         The above is a true and perfect Inventory of all the goods and chattels rights and credits of the said Joseph Payne deceased. Which have come to the hand possession or knowledge or the hand of any other person for us to the best of our knowledge and belief this 9th of Dec 1846.
