         At the request of David McMurry lawful notice being first given & preceeded with sworn chain carriers A.W. Burnes and J.C. Moss on the 3rd day of December 1870 to procession his tract of land in the following manner (Viz) Beginning at a Stone the N.E. corner of James Jones tract Running Thence S ½ W with said Jones East boundary line Ninety Six poles to a Stone Allen Jones corner Thence S 58 E with his North boundary line Ninety one and a half poles to a Hickory his N.E. corner in Amy Moss west Boundary line Thence with her line N1/2 E Forty nine and a half poles to a Stone George McMurry’s corner in said line Thence west with George McMurry’s South Boundary line Fifty Eight poles to a dead Dogwood his corner Thence North with his line Forty six and a half poles to a stone his corner in Rody Choats South Boundary line Thence N 88 W Thirty three poles to the Beginning Containing 37 ¾ acres.
