Mrs Virginia House Years Allowance
         We, the undersigned householders, after being duly sworn, proceeded to set apart to Mrs. Virginia House widow of W.W. House, deceased, so much of the crop and provisions and money on hand, or other assetts, as may be sufficient, in our opinion, to support her and her family one year from the death of her said husband. We set apart to her, for said purpose, the following articles, to wit:
         20 Bus wheat, 10 Bus corn, 600 lbs pork, 50 lbs cabbage, 1 peck dried beans, 1 peck dried peas, 10 lbs dried fruit, 10 gal canned fruit, 3 Gal preserves, 5 Gal Molasses, 150 lbs sugar, 25 lbs coffee, 5 Bus salt, 5 lbs soda, 1 lb black pepper, 1 lb spice, 1/2 Bus onions, 30 lbs soap, and Seventy five dollars in currency for clothing. There are three members in this family.
