OLD FORT
Location: 1 mile south of Old Fort which is 16 miles south of Benton.
Established: Before Civil War, possibly when first settled by Old Fort M. E. and
discontinued for several years.
Number of graves: Approzimately 100
Acreage: 1 1/2 acres
Remarks: Among those buried here are Zeke and William Waters; Cranse Headrick,
John Pierce, John Griffey also several members of the Collins and Smutherman
families. In bad condition.
