Mt. SALEM (Baptist)
Location: Two and a half miles SE of Archville.
Established: About 100 years ago by Mr. Salem Baptist Church.
Number of graves: 100 or more
Acreage: 1 acre
Remarks: Paul Parks deeded 2 acres for church and cemetery. Church was destroyed 40 years ago. Among those buried here are Silas Goforth and wife, Easter, several members of the Goodwin and Park families. The land is now part of the Cherokee National Forest.
