MT. CARMEL CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Location: Two and a half miles SW of Old Fort on Wheeler Fitzsimmons farm.
Established: February 27, 1896 by Mr. Carmel Christian Church
Number of graves: 6
Remarks: The church burned over 30 years ago and was not rebuilt. It had not been there many years before it was burned. John Fitzsimmons was the first one buried there, also his wife, Elizabeth, and their children, Charlie, a son; Rosa Johnson and Martha Lee, daughters.
