Perry County, Tennessee

Crooked Creek Church Cemetery analysis

Analysis contributed by:  Joyce Warner Douglass 16 March 2009
Photos contributed by:  Sandy Daniels, February 2009

Crooked Creek Church Cemetery is a maintained cemetery off Crooked Creek Road in northwestern Perry County, Tennessee near Daniels Landing. Several dozen burials are unmarked or marked with concrete blocks with no names.

There are a couple known transcriptions of this cemetery:

  • Mary Stewart Bowen and Melissa Snyder Bowen recorded this cemetery in the 1990's;

  • David Donahue recorded this cemetery on 03 March 2001;  He updated it 22 September 2004;

Crooked Creek Church Cemetery, March 2001

In the list below, I’ve started with what is recorded on the new searchable TnGenWeb site, compared it to the other transcriptions and made a note of any differences.
